Ma démarche consiste en la mise en relief de la Médina de Sfax.

Centre historique de la ville, ce microcosme est un monde à part, délimité par une muraille ; cette délimitation des espaces est partout présente dans la médina, par de hauts murs dans les ruelles, par des voûtes de passage séparant les différents quartiers.

L’élément architectural dominant avec toutes ses couleurs, est source inépuisable d’inspiration pour le photographe qui veut retranscrire cette médina, ses murs, son histoire, ses femmes et ses hommes aussi variés et colorés que leur espace de vie.

Mon travaille vise à montrer l’organisation sobre de cette Médina qui, grouillante de vie et de dédales, peut paraître anarchique.

My aim is to highlight the Medina of Sfax.

Historical centre of the town, this microcosm is a world apart, surrounded by high fortifications. This separation of spaces is present all over the Medina, with high walls on both sides of the narrow streets and the vaulted passages separating the different parts of the Medina.

The prevailing architectural element with all its colours, is an everlasting source of inspiration for the photographer who wants to translate the spirit if this Medina, its walls, its history and its people, these women and men which are as coloured as their life space.

My work aims to show the simple organization of the Medina that, teeming with life in its labyrinth, may seem chaotic.
