Mon idée de cette Résidence Euromaghrébine de Photographes est de réaliser une œuvre collective visant à créer un instantané de la ville de Sfax.

Le travail que je présente ici est un reflet de ce que la ville possède de plus précieux : la vie trépidante et colorée de la médina. Une richesse que tous les photographes d’Europe et du Maghreb ont su percevoir pour donner à la ville de Sfax la visibilité qu’elle mérite.

Au cours de 4 jours, j’ai vécu un moment fort et dynamique, plein de complicité entre les artistes participants, volontaires et habitants de la ville.

My idea of this Euromaghreb Residence of Photographers was to realise a collective work that would create an instant picture of the city of Sfax.

The work that I present is a depiction of the most precious things the city owns : the bustling and colourful life of the Medina. A wealth that all the photographers from Europe and the Maghreb area were able to perceive in order to give Sfax the recognition it deserves.

During these 4 days, I lived an intense and dynamic moment, full of complicity between the participating artists, the volunteers, and the inhabitants of Sfax.
